Care & Installation Guide

Please note that human braiding hair may require more advanced braiding technique compared to standard synthetic braiding hair. We recommend using an experienced braider who is familiar with working with human or silky braiding extensions to help achieve the best result.

In most cases, there is no need to use hot water after installation, as Rainha Hair extensions are pre treated during production. After installation, your braider can lightly mist the hair using a mixture of water and leave-in conditioner and allow the hair to air dry. Heat is generally not required.

How to Install Rainha Bone Straight Extensions

Use an experienced braider for best results.

For best results:

  • Blow-dry and straighten your natural hair before braiding
  • Braid fully to the ends
  • Apply styling mousse after installation if desired

Bone straight extensions are prepared during production and do not usually require heat styling.

How to Install Rainha Hair Curl Extensions

Use an experienced braider familiar with silky or human braiding hair. Bundles are ready to braid and typically do not need brushing or stretching.

For best results:

  • Stretch or blow-dry your natural hair before braiding
  • For first installation, braid and secure the ends
  • Keep leave-out length minimal if you plan to reuse the hair

Rainha Hair Curl extensions are pre-textured and generally do not require hot water or heat styling.

How to Install Rainha Deep Wave Extensions

Use a professional braider experienced with silky braiding hair.

For best results:

  • Blow-dry and stretch your natural hair before installation
  • Keep leave-out between approximately 3–7 cm
  • Apply mousse after installation if desired

Deep wave extensions come pre-textured and do not typically require hot water or heat styling.

Maintaining Your Rainha Braiding Human Hair

To keep your hair looking its best, you will need:

  • Spray bottle
  • Water
  • Leave-in conditioner

Mix water and leave-in conditioner in a spray bottle and shake well. Lightly spray the hair while gently separating braids using your fingers. Allow the hair to air dry naturally. Avoid detangling when hair is dry. Detangle only when damp using water and conditioner. For removal, we recommend using a professional braider. Human hair cuticles are aligned during production, and improper removal can lead to tangling or damage. With proper care, human hair can be reused multiple times depending on maintenance and installation methods.

After Installation Care

Apply a small amount of braid cream or leave-in product daily, focusing on the ends to help maintain softness.

A small amount of product is sufficient. Avoid over-applying.

Hair mousse can be used occasionally to maintain curl pattern if needed.

Reusability depends on installation, maintenance, and removal care.

Reusing Rainha Hair

For best results, have a professional remove braid, wash gently and allow hair to air dry completely. Once dry, the hair is typically ready for reuse.

Typical reuse ranges (may vary based on care and wear):

  • Curl textures: approximately 1–2 reuses
  • Bone straight: approximately 1–4 reuses

For later installs, braiding fully to the ends is recommended.

Virgin & Raw Human Hair Aftercare Guide

At Rainha Hair, we believe premium virgin and raw human hair deserves the right level of care. Whether you are new to human hair extensions or exploring textures such as straight, wavy, or curly, proper maintenance is essential for preserving the hair’s overall appearance and longevity.

Our virgin and raw human hair is sourced from real donors and behaves similarly to natural hair, meaning it should be cared for using suitable products and gentle techniques. From regular detangling to deep conditioning, consistent care plays an important role in maintaining softness, shine, and manageability.

Virgin and raw human hair is an investment. Like natural hair, it can tangle, shed, or lose its finish if not properly maintained. Establishing a simple and consistent care routine using suitable products can help maintain the quality and appearance of your Rainha Hair extensions.

At Rainha Hair, we work closely with trusted suppliers and sourcing partners across key hair-producing regions, including parts of Asia. Our focus is on maintaining consistency, quality, and responsible sourcing across our collections.

Caring for Your Virgin and Raw Human Hair

Prepare the Hair Before Installation

While the hair is supplied clean and ready for use, we suggest lightly cleansing it with a sulphate-free conditioning wash before installation. This helps refresh the strands, improve softness, and prepare the hair for styling.

Choose Gentle Haircare Products

To help preserve the natural texture and finish of virgin and raw hair, avoid products containing harsh cleansing agents such as sulphates, alcohol, or parabens. Instead, use nourishing shampoos and hydrating conditioners.

Style with Controlled Heat

Virgin and raw human hair can be styled similarly to natural hair. When using heat tools, apply a heat protection product and keep styling tools at a low to moderate temperature.

Dry the Hair Carefully

After washing, avoid rough towel drying or high heat drying. Gently press out excess water and allow the hair to dry naturally where possible.

Detangle with Care

When detangling, begin at the ends and gradually move upward using a wide-tooth comb or detangling brush. Detangle when hair is slightly damp rather than fully wet or completely dry.

Protect the Hair Overnight

To help minimize friction and maintain smoothness, cover hair with a silk or satin bonnet at night or use a silk pillowcase.
